Create a fun banana split trail mix (aka trail mix parfait) from your dehydrated fruit for school lunchboxes, after-school snacks, and hikes, and as a pick-me-up snack!

It’s so easy to make a trail mix parfait with all of your dehydrated fruits and pantry staples.
Banana Split Trail Mix
When I created this trail mix parfait when trying to find a way to use dehydrated bananas, it seemed such a fun thing to try to blend those flavors from a banana split.
Ingredients:
- 1 part dried bananas
- 1 part dried strawberries
- 1 part dried cherries
- 1 part chocolate chips
- 1 part nuts or seeds of your choice
- 1 part of yogurt melts or drops of yogurt-covered raisins.
- 1 part dehydrated marshmallows! I forgot this in the original recipe, but it will be the perfect thing to add!
I didn’t include the yogurt with our mixture because I wanted better storage options, but it would be something fun to include when serving.
Note: 1 part means the same measurement for all ingredients. Use 1 cup or 1/2 cup, or 3 cups. The mixture can be adjusted to fit your taste preferences.
Storage:
Store in an airtight container for approximately three months. You can use jars, food storage bags, mylar bags, etc.
Make storage longer by not including the nuts or seeds if you want longer-term storage.
How to Serve
- Include in your child’s lunchbox
- Use for an after-school treat
- Use for a hiking/backpacking trip

Nutrition
Nutritional information is an estimation only. Nutrient information for dehydrated foods is based on fresh. Use 1/4 of the servicing size for the same nutrient information. Thus 1 Cup of fresh fruit has the same sugars as 1/4 dried.
