When we first started stocking our pantry with bulk essentials, we were using Azure Standard and fell in love with an odd seasoning blend of mushroom and parmesan. But I couldn’t keep it in stock at home because my husband loved it so much!
Since we weren’t doing frequent orders from Azure, I decided to create a mock-up of it for our family’s tastes! We love this blend and hope you’ll love it, too!
And the great secret ingredient: Made from dehydrated ingredients, including the dried parmesan cheese!
It’s perfect to use for:
- Seasoning steaks
- Sprinkling on popcorn
- Seasoning vegetables
- Putting on pasta
DIY Mushroom Parmesan Seasoning Blend
This easy to put together seasoning blend can be done in about 5 minutes from ingredients you may already have in your pantry!
Ingredient Tips:
- Use freeze dried parmesan, dehydrated parmesan or the green can shakey cheese that you probably have at least one jar of in your pantry. Just remember it’s best to store in the fridge for longer-term use
- Use fresh parmesan cheese – but it needs to be refrigerated.
- Substitute any herb seasoning that you love pairing with mushroom such as sage, rosemary, oregano, coriander, or parsley. Or really another other hearty, savory herb you love.
Instructions:
- Blend all ingredients together in a bullet blender or small blender.
- Store in an airtight container for a few weeks on the counter, or in the fridge for longer term.
